wow wow wow

Wow, amazing! The villa was absolutely perfect! My brother was getting married nearby, so myself, husband, uncle and aunt stayed here, plenty of room for at least 2 more people. It was situated perfectly, a 20 min or so walk or 7 euro cab ride and you had everything, but far enough away to be tranquil. the shops at the crossroads were very good, and super friendly…my husband and uncle disappeared for a good hour or so, coming back having been fed beer/ouzo, cheese and fresh bread, and with fresh fish and watermelon in their shopping bags! The butchers opposite was also very good, the meat was amazing and very well priced! Mike the pool man was lovely, and so was Lisa, who, after locking ourselves out 1 night, let us in, in under 15 minutes! Overall, one of the best holidays we have ever had, looking forward to returning soon. highly recommend

Relaxing
Lynn H.
This is a lovely villa, you feel that you really are away from it all, but there are plenty of tavernas in the nearby resort. I think you would need a car to really take advantage of the lovely little coves and bays close by, such as Amboula, which has some lovely tavernas and is well worth a visit. If you have any problems whilst at the villa the local property manager, Lisa, will sort it out for you and I found her to be extremely helpful, as are Mike & Anne who clean the pool and are a valuable source of information about the island. It was so relaxing it was difficult to tear ourselves away from the pool to visit the beach, but Bouka beach is within walking distance, albeit a rather hot walk. The local people are really friendly and can’t do enough for you. I would definitely go back to this villa again, plenty of room for 6 people and at the last minute we found out that there would be 7 of us, which they were able to accommodate by providing us with a “fold out” bed in the bunk room. The local supermarket is fine for the odd bit of shopping, but is very expensive, so do your main shopping at the bigger supermarkets in Tsilivi. The local butcher is great for meat for the BBQ. We were a mixed group, teenagers, middle age and elderly and the villa was fine for my parents who are 80. There was also some nightlife in Tsilivi to keep the teenagers happy, but it is not full of clubs like Laganas, so there was something for everyone in this area.

Holidays in Zakynthos
Efi L.
Summer holidays with three children and a dog! Sounds terrible but …we seem to have found the ideal place. A fully-equipped villa offering tranquillity but in walking distance from the beach, a small supermarket, a super butcher, the bus stop and a couple of tavernas. The first thing that amazed me was the harmony between the house and the vast olive grove, which produces a delicious extra virgin olive oil! It is so peaceful; a different world. The days flowed by and every member of the family enjoyed themselves. Some of us took the short walk to the sandy beach, for swimming and sunbathing and then a light lunch or drink at the Banana Beach Bar where Dimitra welcomed us with a huge smile. Others, feeling lazier after partying in the nearby resort, just basked around the pool.
An unforgettable two weeks!

Summer 2011
Sofia V.
My husband, 9-month-old son and I spent a few days at the Olive Grove last summer; unfortunately our little boy fell ill as soon as we arrived, so, needless to say, we saw very little of the island. However, we were extremely happy to be staying in such a clean, well-organized villa, in a location where we were within walking distance of the beach and able to get everything we needed for us and the baby with so little disruption… We look forward to returning soon and taking full advantage of the huge olive grove surrounding the house (perfect for ‘exploring’ and playing safely), the swimming pool, and all the nearby sights!

Excellentes vacances – Great holidays
Guillaume V.
